VIPs can be broken down into three categories: Founders, Kofi Drinkers, and VIPs.

Donations for the Kofi role are non refundable (chargebacks will lead to a ban), VIP can be acquired for free using the requirement listed below.

Downloading the Mod

To claim within Homestead you will need to download a mod called Open Parties and Claims

1. Navigate to Curseforge or Modrinth
2. Search for Open Parties and Claims (or click the modrinth link above to download the version needed)
3. Download the mod for Fabric 1.20.1
4. Navigate to your launcher and:
   1. Curseforge: 
      1. Right click homestead,
      2. Click on Open Folder
      3. Navigate to the Mods folder
      4. Move downloaded mod into mod folder
   2. Modrinth:
      1. Click on Homestead
      2. Under the play button where it says install content click the down arrow next to it
      3. Click add from file
      4. Select the mod you have downloaded.
5. Load up and join using the url: HOMESTEAD.NOXMAGICAE.CO.UK

Due to licencing restrictions you will need to download additional mods with Modrinth but it will link you to them on load for the first time. It will open all the tabs needed and download them automatically you will just need to follow the steps above to add them in and you're good to go! Even though you have to do extra steps to load up through Modrinth we still recommend it over CurseForge as they support the Developers of the Mods better than CurseForge, you are also less likely to download malware from Modrinth than you are from CurseForge. They are also more Consumer Friendly than CurseForge and its Overlord Overwolf.

Claiming Land In-Game

1. To claim land in game you will need to open your map using the key bind set for it, default should be M,
2. Right-click and Drag to select an area,
3. Click Claim Selected on the popup menu

Force loading Land In-Game

1. To help with server performance you will only get 1 one chunk to force claim
2. Right-click the chunk you want to load
3. Click Forceload Selected on the popup menu

Allowing friends to interact with land

You will need to also create a Party in the Open Parties and Claims mod for friends to interact with land as well as FTB Teams to share quests. (This might change in the new update) To do so press the "'/@" Key on your keyboard to open the Main Menu for the mod and setup a Party through there. Then run the command /openpac-parties ally add [username]

We have enabled a different Essentials mod to allow for better configuration. This essentials mod also allows for invulnerability whilst afk, this may make you stuck in place on your return.

Though you should automatically be able to be able to move after coming back, sometimes you cant. To get unstuck after your return use the command: /afk
